After 17 years of building International and multicultural business at DISH Network and Sling TV, Izabela Slowikowska decided to start damakaro, l.l.c. - her own global media consulting company.

During her successful career, Izabela has been a strategic executive leader recognized for innovating and disrupting the TV industry by launching the first stand-alone OTT platform among all MVPDs: Sling TV (International & Latino) formerly, DISH World . 

During her years at DISH, Izabela grew the company’s International content  offering from 25 to nearly 400 linear channels and over 50,000 VOD assets serving 27 language groups across satellite and OTT platforms.

Izabela is a driver of pioneering approaches to established processes which led her to formulate the global expansion strategy for Sling TV.  She is an “out of the box” executive with strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills .  

She is also a recognized strategy architect in the development of innovative content acquisition and marketing approaches supported by a long history of YOY revenue growth and significant cost cuts while maximizing profitability and customer retention. 

In addition, Izabela is a passionate and innovative problem solver skilled in multicultural brand and product marketing, sales and channel management, business development, M&A, public relations, contract negotiations, vendor management, and strategic planning.

She worked tirelessly as a strategic advisor to women in business resource groups and mentorship programs and was most recently presented with the 2018 Cablefax Most Powerful Women award.
